PSP CERTIFICATION WORKSHOP The Houston Gulf Coast Section
(HGCS) of AACE is proud to sponsor the Planning and Scheduling
Professional (PSP) Certification Workshop and Study Group. If you think
you are ready to sit for the PSP, this course can help you determine how
prepared you are to take the PSP. Next Certification exam date is March 6,

is limited to 16 people - so, do not delay! The primary objective of this
course is to help you determine if you are ready and prepared to sit for
the PSP exam. The second objective is to give you the necessary tools and
information to help you to be competent as you study for the PSP exam.
AACEI offers several certifications. For more detailed information
concerning all the certifications, please refer to the AACEI website –
www.aacei.org . This website contains a
wealth of information regarding the organization and its goals, the
certification process, bookstore, and much more.
The PSP Workshop is being held at 1250 Wood Branch Park Drive, Houston
77079. The classes will be three hours in length, starting at 6:00pm.

November 25 The course is open to anyone (members and
non-members) who is genuinely committed to sitting for the PSP exam in
March 2010. The content of the course will be based on the PSP
Certification Study Guide and the Skills & Knowledge, 5th edition as
published by AACEI. The PSP Certification Study Guide will be available
for purchase on the first night of class for $60.00. It is recommended
that everyone taking the training course purchase the study guide. The
study course will cost a one-time fee of $35.00, which covers all
refreshments and materials for each class.
The course will be co-instructed by Ord Limbrick and Olaleye Bakare.
Ord Limbrick is the Engineering Services Manager at EPI Engineering. He is
a certified Project Management Professional and a Scheduling Professional
by the Project Management Institute and a certified Planning & Scheduling
Professional by AACEI. Ord earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from
the University of Oklahoma and has more than 12 years of combined industry
experience in Chemicals, Refining, and Exploration & Production. Ord has a
genuine passion for planning and scheduling.
Olaleye Bakare (aka) Ola is a Planner at SBM Offshore. He is a certified
PMP, PMI-SP and also earned the AACEI certification in PSP. Ola earned his
B.Sc in Mathematics and M.Sc in Statistics. He has more than 10 years
experience in Cost estimating and Project Controls within Construction,
Refining and Exploration industries. He believes that the greatest
investment in life is investment on People. |
