Hello, I am Liz Heuermann, and would first like to express my personal thanks for electing me as the President of the AACE Houston Gulf Coast Section. It is a privilege to lead one of the largest sections of AACE International.

Last program year (2009-2010) was a very successful year for HGCS, with a full and varied program of technical speakers. We were also able to offer training and education classes. I would like to take this opportunity to thank John Mathis, his team, our sponsors, our guests, and you, the members for all the support.

How do we follow that? Well, 2010-2011 is shaping up to be an exciting year, with the Board of Directors securing excellent speakers and an excellent technical program. As we finalize the details, we'll update the webpage with all the details. Let us make this year another banner year for HGCS.
